I am the store manager of Denton Athletics. I just had a customer call and tell me to look at this site, he thought it was something I needed to see. I told him after being in business for just short of seven years having only three people upset enough to go to the computer and blast us was not too bad.To Joel,Sandy and Philip I would tell them I am sorry for their bad experience. I would also tell them not one of them ask to see anyone in management when their problem occured. I do not understand if a problem is bad enough to go to a computer and blast a situation why not when it happens seek out management that could help with the issue. We do employ college students. I am proud of every one we have. They are good kids and do the very best they can. Sometimes these young people have issues and problems like all of us and if they were on one occasion not as attentative as these three people needed I would just ask them to remember back to when they were young. Positives: +Pretty good selection in a variety of sports +Prices are average Negatives: +Customer Service is TERRIBLE - they act as if you are inconveniencing them to make a purchase there. I have not dealt with them on larger purchases for team sports, but I assume that is the only way they stay in business. The staff is rude...it has been my experience every time with every individual in the store. They set the tone by the signs taped to the door: Don't use your cell phone in the store, etc. Simply put, they could do a ton more business in our town (which has a proclivity toward individually owned businesses) if they were simply polite. RUDE RUDE RUDE.

well i called in to denton athletics on presidents day and i asked if they were open today, and the employee who answered the phone said in response well i answered the phone so YES were open today in a rude manner. so i was just a bit pissed and felt like callling him back and giving him a piece of my mind. and also the service at denton athletics is horrible, they have these teenagers working there that could care less about you and what you have to purchase..
